Two full-height tinted glass side panels in matching gloss black frames flank the door, adding width to the entrance and bringing light into the hallway. The tinted glass gives reflections from outside rather than a view in, so privacy isn’t a concern. The glass is anti-burglar rated as standard – double glazed, with triple glazing and bullet-resistant upgrades available. The narrow black frames between the door and the glass panels keep everything looking seamless, like one continuous installation rather than separate elements bolted together.
Behind that show-stopping finish is our patented welded steel frame and reinforced core. Multipoint locking at six points, stainless steel hinge side bolts, and a hardened drill-resistant defender are all in there doing their job quietly. You can spot the lock cylinder and deadlock on the left side of the door – the hardware is there, but it doesn’t compete with the design. Rockwool insulation fills the inner structure for thermal and acoustic performance, and fire resistance from 30 to 120 minutes is available.
The high-gloss powder-coated finish is tougher than it looks – it’s weather-resistant, UV stable, and won’t chip or peel. It does show fingerprints more readily than matte, but a quick wipe sorts that out and honestly, a door this good-looking deserves the occasional bit of attention. Any RAL colour is available if you fancy something other than black, and the chrome hardware can be swapped to brass, brushed nickel, or matte black. FIRE
Our doors have been through rigorous fire testing and are available with ratings from 30 to 120 minutes. In a real emergency, that extra time can make all the difference for getting your family out safely.
BURGLARY
Every Fort door is tested and certified for burglary resistance. With a reinforced steel core, multipoint locking, and drill-resistant components, these doors are designed to hold up against forced entry attempts – the kind of thing that would go through a standard front door in seconds.

SECURITY DOORS STRUCTURE
At the heart of every Fort door is a patented welded steel frame – this is what makes our doors fundamentally different from standard timber or composite options. The steel structure gives you genuine strength and resistance to forced entry, not just the appearance of security.
On the outside, the steel is clad in engineered wood, which can be painted in any colour, finish, or wood grain you want. So from the street, it looks like a beautiful front door. From a burglar’s perspective, it’s basically a wall. The inner structure is packed with rockwool insulation, which does double duty – it keeps heat in during winter and blocks street noise. Fire resistance options go from 30 minutes right up to 120 minutes, depending on what you need.
The glass we use is anti-burglar rated as standard, starting from double glazing. If you want to go further, there’s triple glazing and even bullet-resistant glass available. The locking system is multipoint with six bolts – one upper, one lower, and four on the sides – plus 4 to 8 stainless steel hinge side bolts and a hardened steel drill-resistant defender. It’s a lot of security packed into something that looks like a normal front door.
